Effective date: October 16, 2026
This policy explains how LSO Media Group LLC (“LSO,” “we,” “us” or “our”) receives business correspondence and handles unsolicited creative, technical and commercial material through this corporate website and its published corporate contact channels. Its purpose is to establish clear submission boundaries, protect confidential information and avoid misunderstandings about ownership, review, payment and project development.
1. Do not send unsolicited creative or proprietary material
LSO does not invite or accept unsolicited scripts, treatments, program formats, story outlines, pitches, manuscripts, music, footage, artwork, advertising concepts, inventions, software, source code, product designs, technical specifications, datasets, business plans or other proprietary material for development, acquisition or commercial use. Do not send these materials, links to private repositories, access credentials or physical samples unless an authorized LSO representative has first requested the specific material through an agreed submission process.
This rule applies to attachments, cloud links, direct messages, meeting invitations, website forms, postal deliveries and material sent directly to an executive or employee. A publicly listed email address, an open job posting, a general invitation to contact us, or language encouraging ideas and collaboration is not an invitation to submit a creative work or disclose a confidential invention.
2. Permitted initial business inquiries
You may send a concise, nonconfidential inquiry about advertising, sponsorship, distribution, consulting, production services, licensing opportunities, supplier capabilities or another proposed business relationship. Use our partnership inquiry form or the appropriate published contact channel.
An initial inquiry should identify you and your organization, the general nature of the opportunity, the services or relationship you seek, and a way to contact you. Describe objectives at a high level. Do not include an unpublished script, distinctive creative execution, secret commercial terms, customer list, source code, patent-sensitive disclosure or information subject to another person's confidentiality obligations.
A description of an existing catalog or service may include a link to material you are authorized to make publicly available. It should not contain restricted-access materials or imply that LSO has agreed to acquire, distribute or endorse anything. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your statements and for having authority to represent the organization or rights holder you identify.
3. Written invitations and separate agreements
If LSO wishes to consider detailed material, the responsible representative may identify the permitted materials, recipient, delivery method and any required evaluation terms. An invitation is limited to its stated scope. Do not expand it to additional projects, recipients or categories of information without further written agreement.
Where confidentiality, payment, exclusivity, ownership, licensing or development rights are important to a proposed exchange, settle those terms in an appropriate agreement before disclosing the material or beginning work. An invitation to discuss a project is not, by itself, a commission, purchase order, option, license, employment offer or commitment to negotiate or complete a transaction.
An existing binding agreement, including a nondisclosure agreement, governs matters within its scope and takes precedence over inconsistent provisions of this general policy. This policy does not cancel or weaken an existing confidentiality obligation, change a contract's parties, or amend an agreement by publication. A representative's authority to receive correspondence does not itself establish authority to bind LSO or any other business to a transaction.
4. Confidentiality must be arranged before disclosure
Do not use a general corporate inbox, public form or unsolicited submission to transmit trade secrets, privileged communications, confidential client information, security credentials, unreleased third-party work or information you must keep confidential. Do not send material on the assumption that delivery alone will create a confidential relationship.
LSO does not undertake a contractual duty of confidentiality merely because unsolicited material arrives, is acknowledged, or carries a confidentiality legend. A unilateral notice, email footer, invoice or proposed restriction is not a substitute for LSO's agreement to the relevant terms. Duties arising under applicable law or an existing binding agreement remain unaffected.
If you believe sensitive information was sent in error, promptly email info@lsomediagroup.com with the subject “Submission sent in error.” Identify the original message, date and recipient without resending the sensitive material. We may request information needed to identify the communication and evaluate the request. Do not assume that a recall request has been received, that all copies can be recovered, or that deletion is immediate.
5. Ownership and limited processing
Sending correspondence does not, under this policy, transfer ownership of your work to LSO. It does not assign copyright, grant an exclusive license, create a work made for hire, or authorize LSO to publish, sell, adapt or otherwise commercially exploit protected material. Any such rights must have a separate lawful basis.
When you ask LSO to consider a permitted business inquiry, you authorize handling reasonably necessary to receive, store, open, read, internally route, evaluate and respond to that inquiry, to the extent you have authority to grant that permission. This permission is limited to processing the communication and administering the proposed relationship. It does not provide a general content license or permission to train an AI model on submitted work.
Relevant correspondence may be handled by personnel, professional advisers and service providers supporting those purposes, subject to applicable privacy obligations and any binding confidentiality restrictions. Personal information is handled under the applicable privacy notice. The AI Usage & Synthetic Media Policy continues to govern approved AI workflows and restrictions on sensitive information.
6. No undertaking to review, develop or pay
Unless a binding agreement or applicable law provides otherwise, LSO has no obligation to review, evaluate, respond to, return, develop, acquire, credit or compensate unsolicited material. We may decline an inquiry, stop discussions, refuse an attachment, or remove unsolicited material from active systems without completing a substantive review. Receipt of a message does not confirm that anyone has opened, understood or evaluated its contents.
An automated confirmation, inquiry reference number, courtesy acknowledgment, meeting, general feedback or request for clarification does not by itself indicate acceptance of proposed terms, project approval or a payment commitment. Do not incur costs, reserve production capacity, begin development or perform services for LSO based solely on such communications.
LSO does not agree to pay submission fees, reading fees, royalties, finder’s fees, development costs or other compensation merely by receiving or discussing unsolicited material. Any proposed fee or payment arrangement must be expressly agreed through an authorized process before the relevant work or introduction. This statement does not defeat a payment obligation that otherwise arises under a binding agreement or applicable law.
7. Independent work and similar ideas
LSO and other businesses may already be developing, evaluating or receiving projects that resemble an inquiry or proposal. LSO reserves the right to continue independent development, consider other proposals and pursue lawful business opportunities without granting exclusivity to an unsolicited sender.
LSO does not agree to pay compensation, provide credit, disclose its development records or abandon a project solely because a sender identifies similarities with unsolicited material. Similarity alone is not treated by this policy as a commercial agreement or an acknowledgment that LSO used the submission. Whether rights have been infringed or a duty breached depends on the facts and applicable law.
This policy does not authorize infringement, misappropriation, misuse of confidential information or breach of contract. It does not require a sender to release legitimate claims, surrender ownership or waive protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
8. Other communications use their own process
- Job applications: Use the careers process and the instructions for the relevant role. Résumés, requested portfolios and permitted work samples are submitted for recruitment review. Do not include confidential employer or client materials. A recruitment submission is not permission to use the applicant's work in a commercial production or product.
- Editorial tips and corrections: This policy's prohibition on unsolicited commercial pitches does not prevent good-faith tips, requests for correction, or reports of wrongdoing. The Editorial Standards & Corrections Policy applies to editorial review. If source protection is needed, ask about an appropriate channel before transmitting identifying or sensitive material; a general corporate form is not represented as a confidential tip service.
- Rights, privacy and safety concerns: Identify the concern through the relevant published reporting process or contact channel. A rights complaint, privacy request, accessibility request or report of suspected misconduct is not a commercial pitch and is not conditioned on granting LSO a license or releasing claims.
- Requested client or supplier work: Deliver material through the channel and on the terms agreed for the engagement. A signed contract, applicable purchase order or other binding agreement controls that relationship.
9. Security, records and physical material
Do not send malware, executable files, credentials, unlawfully obtained material, unauthorized personal information or material you are prohibited from disclosing. LSO may block links and attachments, filter abusive or repetitive messages, and restrict channels used to threaten people, impersonate others or interfere with operations, subject to applicable law.
Keep your own copies. LSO does not offer archival storage or a return service for unsolicited submissions. Do not send originals, irreplaceable records, storage devices or valuable physical items without a specific written delivery arrangement. Deletion from an active inbox does not necessarily remove records retained in backups, security logs, legal holds or other systems. Retention and deletion remain subject to applicable law, privacy requirements, binding agreements and legitimate recordkeeping needs.
10. Scope, changes and contact
This policy concerns LSO Media Group LLC's corporate submission channels. A portfolio company's separately published submission process or agreement governs communications made under that process. Contacting one business does not establish that it acts for every business in the portfolio. See the Brand Ownership & Affiliation Disclosure for more information.
LSO may update this policy and will identify the revised effective date. A later publication does not retroactively expand a license, impose new submission terms on an earlier exchange, or amend an existing binding agreement. Applicable mandatory law controls where it conflicts with this policy.
For questions about the correct submission process, email info@lsomediagroup.com with the subject “Submission process inquiry.” Describe the category of material and intended purpose without attaching the work or disclosing confidential details.
