LSO Media Group announced the appointment of Ana Colvin as chief financial officer, effective October 3rd. Colvin will lead the company’s financial operations and support the investment decisions that guide its continued development.
Her responsibilities will include financial planning and analysis, budgeting, consolidated reporting, cash management, and internal financial controls. Working with executive leadership and the company’s operating businesses, Colvin will help evaluate financial performance and establish budgets that support corporate priorities.
“Our investment decisions need to account for the needs of each business and the financial position of the company as a whole,” said Jonathan Gonzalez, chief executive officer of LSO Media Group. “Ana will lead that work, helping us determine where to direct resources and how to support those decisions over time.”
The role will bring financial oversight across LSO Media Group’s interests in media, hospitality, credit and financial counseling, and consumer goods procurement. Colvin will work with leadership to assess the financial requirements of existing operations and prospective investments, including their costs, funding needs, and exposure to risk.
“Good financial planning starts with understanding the businesses behind the numbers,” said Colvin. “My focus will be on working with our teams to develop realistic plans and reliable reporting, so that the company’s ambitions are supported by the resources needed to carry them out.”
Through consolidated financial reporting, Colvin will help leadership assess individual business results alongside the group’s overall performance. That work will inform spending decisions and longer-term investment planning across the portfolio.
