Intellectual Property & Rights Complaints Policy

Effective date: October 16, 2026

This Intellectual Property & Rights Complaints Policy explains how LSO Media Group LLC (“LSO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) protects intellectual property associated with this corporate website, considers requests for permission, and receives reports of suspected rights violations. It applies to this website and to another LSO service only where that service expressly incorporates it. A separate service, platform, portfolio company, or distribution partner may have its own terms and complaint process.

1. Ownership and the limits of this policy

Website text, photographs, illustrations, audiovisual recordings, graphics, logos, software, designs, and other materials may be owned by LSO, an affiliated company, a contributor, a licensor, or another rights holder. Rights may be divided by territory, medium, period, or type of use. LSO reserves the rights it owns or is authorized to administer. The presence of material on this website does not establish that LSO owns every right in it or can license every proposed use.

Specific production, employment, commissioning, distribution, licensing, and other written agreements govern the rights of their parties. This policy does not transfer ownership of another person's work to LSO, change an existing signed agreement, or claim exclusive rights in facts, public-domain material, or ideas that applicable law does not protect. Third-party trademarks and materials remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses. See the Brand Ownership & Affiliation Disclosure for additional context.

2. Viewing, downloading, and sharing

You may access material made publicly available through the website's intended functionality, subject to the Terms of Use, applicable law, and any specific notice accompanying that material. Temporary technical copies ordinarily necessary for authorized browsing are permitted. You may share links to publicly accessible LSO pages without suggesting that your website or activity is operated, sponsored, approved, or endorsed by LSO.

Access to a page, possession of a file, payment to a third party, credit to a creator, or a download acknowledgment does not by itself grant permission to reproduce, distribute, adapt, sublicense, sell, broadcast, or commercially exploit material. An official sharing or embedding feature, where provided, permits only the use contemplated by that feature and its accompanying terms. It does not authorize extraction of underlying files, removal of controls, or reuse outside the feature.

Unless a specific license or applicable law permits the use, obtain written permission from the relevant rights holder before republishing a substantial portion of protected website content, distributing a program or clip, creating merchandise, or using protected material in advertising or a commercial product. LSO may not be able to clear music, performances, photographs, archive footage, likenesses, or other third-party elements embedded in a production.

3. Names, trademarks, and brand resources

LSO names, marks, logos, and title cards identify their relevant source. No permission to register, claim ownership of, or adopt them as your own brand is granted. You must not use LSO's identity to impersonate the company, misdirect communications, solicit funds deceptively, misrepresent employment or hiring authority, or create a misleading impression of a partnership, endorsement, or official account.

The Brand Assets page supplies corporate identity files with usage guidance and a download acknowledgment. Those resources are not a blanket license. Authorized uses must comply with the applicable written permission and agreed brand requirements, including requirements concerning artwork, proportion, color, clear space, and placement. Files marked as reference material are not production masters. Permission to use the corporate identity does not automatically cover a portfolio brand, program, performer, or other asset.

Commercial, promotional, co-branded, advertising, packaging, and merchandise uses require the permission specified by the relevant rights holder unless otherwise permitted by law. A relationship with an employee, contributor, host, or supplier does not by itself authorize use of LSO's identity. Permission on LSO's behalf must come from an authorized representative, subject to applicable law concerning authority. Descriptive references and other legally protected uses are addressed in Section 5.

4. Unauthorized exploitation and interference

Except to the extent authorized by a controlling license or applicable law, do not:

  • Copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, publicly perform, broadcast, adapt, or create commercial derivatives from protected material beyond the scope of your authorization.
  • Strip or falsify credits, ownership information, watermarks, licensing notices, or other rights-management information in circumstances prohibited by law or your license.
  • Bypass access restrictions or technological protection measures, or obtain unpublished production materials, source files, or restricted assets without authorization.
  • Use automated collection to reproduce protected content or build a competing archive, data product, or other service where that activity exceeds permission or infringes applicable rights.
  • Represent synthetic, altered, or independently created material as an authentic LSO statement, recording, production, endorsement, or authorized release.
  • Sell purported LSO licenses, create deceptive LSO accounts or domains, or use LSO identifiers in a manner that unlawfully confuses people about source, affiliation, or authorization.

Availability on a public website does not itself grant a license to use protected material for model training, dataset distribution, voice or likeness simulation, or other automated exploitation. Whether a particular use requires permission depends on the rights involved, any applicable agreement, and the law. This policy does not characterize every automated, analytical, or artificial-intelligence use as unlawful.

5. Fair use, lawful references, and protected expression

Nothing in this policy prohibits a use permitted by applicable law, including qualifying fair use, lawful quotation, public-domain use, or lawful descriptive or nominative reference to a brand. Criticism, commentary, news reporting, research, education, and parody may qualify for protection depending on the facts. Calling a use educational, adding a credit, or limiting it to a particular number of seconds or words does not automatically determine whether permission is necessary.

LSO does not require permission merely to publish an honest review or lawful criticism, and this policy does not impose a penalty for protected consumer reviews or transfer ownership of them to LSO. A failure to follow LSO's preferred brand presentation does not, by itself, establish infringement. Conversely, a disclaimer or attribution does not automatically cure an otherwise infringing or deceptive use. LSO will consider relevant legal exceptions when assessing a rights complaint or deciding whether to pursue enforcement.

6. Requesting a license or permission

Send permission requests to info@lsomediagroup.com with the subject “Rights and Permissions Request.” Identify the exact asset or URL, the requesting person or organization, the intended audience and purpose, distribution channels, territories, duration, proposed edits, and whether the use will be commercial, paid, sponsored, or monetized. Include examples of the proposed placement where useful.

A request, acknowledgment, preliminary discussion, estimate, or failure to respond is not a license or approval. Permission is effective only when an authorized rights holder confirms it in writing and any stated conditions are satisfied. Permission may be limited to the particular project, medium, territory, term, or version specified. Additional uses, transfers, edits, renewals, or sublicenses require additional authorization unless already covered. Any withdrawal or termination of permission remains subject to the governing agreement and applicable law.

7. Reporting a copyright concern

If you believe material on an LSO-controlled page infringes your copyright, email info@lsomediagroup.com with the subject “Copyright Concern.” Provide:

  1. Your name, reliable contact details, and whether you are the rights holder or an authorized representative.
  2. An identification of the work and the rights you believe are affected, with an original source or other supporting information where available.
  3. The exact URL and, for audiovisual material, the relevant timestamps or other information that lets us locate the disputed use.
  4. An explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized, taking account of any permission, license, or legal exception that may apply.
  5. The action requested and information supporting your authority to act.
  6. Your electronic or physical signature and confirmation that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Provide only the personal information and supporting documents reasonably needed to assess the concern. A registration number may be useful if one exists, but lack of a registration number alone does not prevent you from raising a concern. Do not send passwords, payment details, original physical materials, or unrelated confidential records.

This is a general rights-review contact. This policy does not identify that mailbox as a registered agent under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), claim that LSO qualifies for a statutory safe harbor, or replace any legally required notice procedure. If you intend to submit a formal statutory notice concerning a particular hosting or platform service, consult that service's published procedure and the U.S. Copyright Office's designated-agent directory where relevant. Statutory requirements and deadlines apply independently of this general process.

8. Trademark, impersonation, and other rights concerns

For trademark or false-affiliation concerns, use the same email address with the subject “Trademark or Impersonation Concern.” Identify the mark or identity involved, the rights holder, the relevant country or region, registration information if applicable, the exact disputed location, and the conduct that you believe creates confusion or misrepresents authority. Unregistered rights may be identified with supporting information; a registration number is not mandatory for this general review process.

For a privacy, likeness, or other rights concern, explain whose rights are involved, your authority to represent that person if relevant, and the specific use at issue. Privacy requests are also addressed in our Privacy Policy. Editorial disagreements and correction requests should follow our Editorial Standards; a rights complaint should not be used simply to suppress reporting or criticism you dislike. If the material appears only on an independent service, that operator may control its removal and its own reporting process may also be necessary.

9. Review, corrective action, and reconsideration

LSO will assess reports using the information reasonably available and applicable law. We may request clarification, examine licenses or other records, contact relevant contributors or rights holders, preserve relevant records, restrict access during review, correct attribution, remove or replace material, or decline a request where the evidence does not support it. No particular remedy or outcome is guaranteed. Any applicable legal duties, court orders, and deadlines remain controlling.

A temporary restriction, removal, correction, or request for information is not necessarily an admission of infringement or liability. We may share the substance of a complaint and information reasonably necessary to investigate or respond with the person responsible for the material, affected rights holders, service providers, professional advisers, or authorities as permitted or required by law. We handle personal information under the Privacy Policy and do not promise that a complaint can remain confidential.

If you believe an action resulted from a mistake, reply to the correspondence or email the general rights-review contact with the affected URL, your relationship to the material, and the reason for reconsideration. Include licenses, source records, or an explanation of any applicable legal exception. We may reconsider on the basis of new information. This request is a general reconsideration request, not a substitute for a statutory counter-notification; a statutory process must follow the applicable service's procedure and legal requirements.

10. Good-faith reporting and repeat misuse

Submit accurate reports in good faith. Do not misrepresent ownership or authority, conceal a known license, manufacture evidence, or use repeated unfounded complaints to harass another person or suppress lawful expression. Material misrepresentations in statutory copyright notices or counter-notifications can carry consequences under applicable law. LSO will distinguish a good-faith mistake or disputed legal position from deliberate abuse.

Where LSO controls a contributor's access or an applicable service relationship, repeated or serious infringement or misuse may result in restriction or termination of that access or relationship, subject to the governing agreement, procedural requirements, and applicable law. This does not promise that the corporate website offers public accounts, user uploads, or any particular moderation system.

11. Enforcement and reservation of rights

To protect rights it owns or is authorized to enforce, LSO may seek correction, cessation, removal, platform review, negotiated resolution, or remedies available through an appropriate legal process. Available remedies depend on the facts, the rights involved, applicable law, and any controlling agreement. This policy creates no automatic fine, fixed damages award, conclusive finding of wrongdoing, or automatic entitlement to an injunction or legal fees.

Choosing not to act in one instance does not by itself grant permission for another use. Any waiver, settlement, release, or license must be established under the applicable agreement and law; silence should not be treated as authorization. LSO reserves all rights and defenses available to it, and this policy does not eliminate rights or defenses that another person cannot lawfully waive.

12. Related terms, updates, and contact

Read this policy together with the Terms of Use, Brand Assets guidance, Brand Ownership & Affiliation Disclosure, and any specific license governing your use. An applicable signed agreement controls over a conflicting general website statement for the parties to that agreement. Open-source or other third-party license terms continue to govern the materials to which they apply.

We may revise this policy by posting an updated version and effective date. Revisions do not retroactively withdraw a granted license or alter a signed agreement except as that agreement and applicable law permit. Any consent or notice required by law remains necessary. Questions about rights, permissions, or this policy may be sent to info@lsomediagroup.com.
