Position summary
The Revenue & Reservations Manager develops the planning and booking practices that help LSO Media Group's hospitality activities use their available capacity effectively. Reporting to the Hospitality Operations Manager, you will assess demand, recommend prices and manage reservation processes within approved policy. The initial scope will depend on the division's selected services and business model.
You will connect commercial decisions with the experience guests actually receive. Accurate availability, understandable terms and timely booking communication matter alongside revenue. Working with operations, guest experience and Finance, you will document assumptions, evaluate channel costs and make recommendations that can be delivered consistently. Early work will establish clean reservation data and a practical approach to testing demand and pricing.
Responsibilities
- Define reservation data, availability controls and booking handoffs for the division's approved hospitality services.
- Analyze demand patterns, booking lead times and cancellations using available records and clearly labeled assumptions.
- Recommend prices, packages and inventory allocations within approved commercial parameters.
- Evaluate booking channels and partner terms by considering fees, customer fit, support needs and net revenue.
- Maintain accurate availability and coordinate procedures for amendments, cancellations and booking exceptions.
- Work with guest experience colleagues to keep booking descriptions, confirmation messages and service terms clear.
- Reconcile reservation activity and relevant financial records with Finance and investigate discrepancies.
- Report demand, utilization and revenue results using measures that match the service model, recommending adjustments when evidence changes.
Required qualifications
- Experience in hospitality reservations, revenue analysis or commercial operations, typically four or more years.
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills, including the ability to distinguish gross revenue from channel costs and net contribution.
- Experience maintaining accurate availability, booking records and customer-facing reservation terms.
- Ability to explain pricing recommendations and demand uncertainty to operational colleagues.
- Reliable attention to detail and a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience configuring or introducing a reservation system.
- Experience evaluating demand for a new service or limited-data hospitality initiative.
- Familiarity with distribution partners, group bookings or packaged guest experiences.
Measures of success
- Availability and reservation records support reliable guest commitments.
- Pricing decisions have clear assumptions and are reviewed against actual results.
- Booking performance reports explain channel costs, cancellations and capacity use.
First 90 days
Confirm the assigned service model, available capacity and commercial approval process with the Hospitality Operations Manager. Assess booking-system needs and establish a baseline reservation workflow. Prepare an initial demand and pricing model with Finance, test guest-facing booking messages with the Guest Experience Manager, and recommend the first reporting measures and review cadence before broader reservation activity is introduced.
Compensation
Proposed annual base salary of $75,000–$100,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.
What to include in your application
Share an example of a pricing or reservation improvement you made. Explain the data available, your recommendation and how you checked its commercial and guest-service effects.
