Position summary

The Operations & Integration Manager turns approved business changes into workable implementation plans. Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Operations, this role supports acquisition integration and operational improvement across LSO Media Group’s portfolio. The manager clarifies task ownership, outstanding decisions, workstream dependencies and readiness requirements before changes take effect.

Working with company leaders and corporate departments, the manager maintains integration schedules, organizes process handoffs and tracks issues through resolution. The role supports media and non-media businesses, including hospitality, credit and financial counseling, and consumer goods procurement. It requires disciplined project management and the judgment to escalate decisions while keeping approved work moving and protecting service continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Build practical integration and operational-change plans from approved objectives, identifying workstreams, accountable owners, dependencies, milestones and completion criteria.
  • Coordinate first-90-day plans for approved acquisitions, adapting implementation activities to the transaction’s scope, governance arrangements and agreed operating priorities.
  • Maintain a consolidated schedule and action register, follow up with workstream owners and flag missed commitments before they affect critical milestones.
  • Organize cross-functional working sessions with Finance, Legal, company operations and other relevant teams, recording decisions and assigning clear next steps.
  • Document current processes and agreed future workflows, including approval routes, service responsibilities and handoffs between company and corporate teams.
  • Track integration risks, unresolved issues and change requests; present options and escalate decisions that exceed the approved scope or authority.
  • Coordinate readiness checks for process transitions, vendor changes and service handoffs, confirming that responsible owners have accepted the required conditions.
  • Prepare implementation updates that accurately show completed work, upcoming milestones, resource constraints and decisions needed from leadership.
  • Work with Finance and operational owners to track approved project costs and expected improvements without making unsupported claims about savings or results.
  • Close completed projects through documented acceptance, transfer ongoing responsibilities to operating owners and capture lessons for subsequent integrations.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, project management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least five years of relevant experience in operations, project management, business transformation or acquisition integration.
  • Experience managing projects involving several departments, with evidence of completing milestones and resolving dependencies across teams.
  • Ability to build usable project plans, maintain accurate issue and decision logs, and distinguish delivery risks from routine updates.
  • Strong process-documentation skills and the ability to convert conversations and business requirements into clear workflows and responsibilities.
  • Effective written communication, organized follow-through and sound judgment when handling confidential business information or escalating unresolved decisions.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting post-acquisition integration or changes involving multiple companies or business units.
  • Familiarity with shared services, vendor transitions, procurement workflows or operational reporting.
  • A relevant project-management qualification or experience applying a structured delivery method pragmatically.

Measures of success

  • Integration plans have clear owners, realistic milestones and current status information.
  • Dependencies and unresolved decisions are surfaced early enough for timely action.
  • Process handoffs are accepted by operating owners with usable documentation and support arrangements.
  • Completed changes meet agreed acceptance criteria and have documented follow-up measures.

First 90 days

Learn the portfolio’s operating structure and review active work with the Director of Portfolio Operations. Establish a consistent planning and reporting format, validate workstream responsibilities and identify immediate dependencies. Take ownership of an agreed implementation plan, coordinate initial milestones and document the handoffs and decisions needed to sustain progress.

Compensation

Proposed annual base salary of $80,000–$110,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.
