Position summary

The Implementation Consultant helps prospective LSO Workplace customers translate their everyday administrative needs into a workable software setup. LSO Workplace and LSO Playout are both coming soon; this position supports Workplace's pilot readiness and initial implementations. Reporting to the Director of Product & Engineering, LSO Workplace, you will map workflows, document configuration needs and coordinate the steps required to evaluate the product in a customer organization.

The role combines discovery, configuration and change coordination. You will work with engineers and customer administrators on permissions, approved data migration, integration prerequisites and user training. Implementations must stay within tested product capabilities and protect customer information. Where a requirement needs development, you will document it clearly and seek a product decision rather than creating an unsupported customer-specific workaround.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct implementation discovery to document customer roles, priority workflows, data sources and success criteria.
  • Prepare a scoped implementation plan with dependencies, owners, configuration decisions and acceptance steps.
  • Configure available Workplace capabilities in approved environments and document the reasoning behind important setup choices.
  • Coordinate permission and identity requirements with customer administrators and the engineering team.
  • Plan approved data imports with validation, minimization and a clear rollback or correction approach.
  • Test configured workflows with representative users and record defects or gaps for engineering review.
  • Deliver administrator and user training using verified product behavior and clearly explain pilot limitations.
  • Prepare the implementation handoff, including configuration records, open issues, support contacts and customer acceptance evidence.

Required qualifications

  • Experience implementing business software, typically three or more years, including customer discovery and configuration work.
  • Ability to map an operational process into roles, permissions, data and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Experience coordinating software integrations or data imports with technical teams and customer administrators.
  • Strong documentation and training skills for audiences with different technical experience.
  • Careful handling of customer information and sound judgment about product boundaries and escalation.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with workplace, resource scheduling, employee services or similar administrative software.
  • Familiarity with identity and calendar integration concepts.
  • Experience implementing software for small organizations with limited internal technical support.

Measures of success

  • Pilot implementations have documented scope, configuration and acceptance criteria.
  • Customer users can complete agreed workflows and understand any current limitations.
  • Permissions, data handling and support handoffs receive explicit review before wider use.

First 90 days

Review the Workplace prototype and approved pilot scope with the director. Create discovery and configuration templates, then exercise a representative implementation using test data. Document integration and permission prerequisites, prepare an administrator training session and a handoff checklist, and support approved pilot discovery while feeding observed workflow gaps into the product backlog.

Compensation

Proposed annual base salary of $80,000–$110,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.

What to include in your application

Describe a business-software implementation you supported, the configuration and data challenges, and how you confirmed the customer was ready to use it. Do not include customer credentials or private records.
