Position summary

The Hospitality Partnerships & Events Manager develops relationships and event opportunities that fit LSO Media Group's hospitality interests. Reporting to the Vice President, Hospitality, you will qualify potential partners, shape proposals and coordinate approved projects from planning through review. Opportunities may connect hospitality with the group's media and entertainment capabilities when there is a clear audience fit and the responsible teams have delivery capacity.

You will build each opportunity around a specific guest proposition, practical operating plan and credible budget. The role does not assume ownership of an existing venue or a calendar of established events. Working with hospitality operations, brand leaders, Finance and Legal, you will clarify responsibilities, seek required approvals and help ensure public commitments match the resources and agreements in place.

Responsibilities

  • Research prospective hospitality, venue, tourism and event partners against approved divisional priorities.
  • Qualify opportunities by assessing audience fit, partner capability, delivery requirements and likely commercial value.
  • Prepare event and partnership proposals with budgets, schedules, responsibilities and decision points.
  • Coordinate scope and contract review with Legal and the leaders authorized to approve commitments.
  • Work with operations and guest experience colleagues on capacity, staffing, access needs and service readiness.
  • Coordinate relevant media or brand participation with the responsible teams and document approved use of assets and promotional commitments.
  • Maintain project plans, supplier deadlines and issue logs for approved events or partner activations.
  • Review attendance, guest feedback, costs and partner outcomes after delivery and recommend whether to repeat, revise or discontinue the approach.

Required qualifications

  • Experience developing hospitality partnerships or managing events, typically four or more years.
  • Ability to build an event budget, delivery schedule and clear allocation of responsibilities.
  • Experience coordinating external partners and internal teams through a deadline-driven project.
  • Strong proposal writing, commercial judgment and attention to contractual approval boundaries.
  • Ability to assess guest experience and operational feasibility alongside projected revenue.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with entertainment, cultural, tourism or community-focused events.
  • Experience coordinating promotional activity with media or creative teams.
  • Experience developing repeatable partnership review and event closeout processes.

Measures of success

  • Proposed partnerships have a clear guest proposition, budget and accountable delivery plan.
  • Approved events meet documented scope and service expectations within agreed resources.
  • Partner decisions are informed by actual commercial results and guest feedback.

First 90 days

Agree priority opportunity types and approval criteria with the Vice President. Build a qualified partner shortlist, create a standard proposal and event budget, and assess initial concepts with hospitality operations and relevant brand teams. Prepare one or more review-ready proposals with delivery dependencies and commercial assumptions, then establish a consistent process for tracking approved commitments and evaluating results.

Compensation

Proposed annual base salary of $75,000–$105,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.

What to include in your application

Describe a partnership or event you developed, including the proposal, budget, delivery responsibilities and outcome. Clarify your role and use nonconfidential examples.
