Position summary

The Corporate Systems Administrator will run the daily administration of LSO Media Group’s internal technology tools. Reporting to the IT Systems Manager, you will prepare devices, maintain approved configurations and carry out authorized access changes. You will support a varied workforce whose needs range from corporate collaboration to coordination with media and software teams.

You will investigate support requests, keep accurate technical records and identify repeated issues that deserve a permanent fix. The role requires care with administrative access and a disciplined approach to changes. You will document what you changed, how you checked the result and when a problem needs escalation to the manager or a service provider.

Responsibilities

  • Provision and remove employee accounts from approved requests, recording assigned access and completion.
  • Prepare laptops and other supported devices using documented configuration and enrollment procedures.
  • Administer collaboration and business applications within the permissions delegated by the IT Systems Manager.
  • Triage support requests, diagnose common problems and explain resolution steps to users.
  • Apply approved updates and configuration changes, checking service behavior after implementation.
  • Maintain device, license and administrator records so ownership and renewal needs remain clear.
  • Run documented backup or recovery checks for assigned corporate services and escalate failures.
  • Write support guides and propose automation for repetitive tasks with appropriate review and safeguards.

Required qualifications

  • Professional experience in systems administration, endpoint support or a comparable internal IT role.
  • Practical ability to administer user accounts, permissions and common collaboration tools.
  • Experience diagnosing device, network-access and application issues methodically.
  • Ability to document changes and handle privileged access and employee information carefully.
  • Clear user support communication and a technical qualification or equivalent hands-on experience.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience supporting both macOS and Windows devices.
  • Familiarity with device-management platforms, identity integrations or single sign-on administration.
  • Experience using scripts to improve repetitive administration with reviewable change controls.

Measures of success

  • Approved account and device requests are completed accurately with a clear audit trail.
  • Support tickets include useful diagnoses, resolution details and appropriate escalation.
  • System and device records reflect the environment employees actually use.
  • Routine changes are checked and repeated problems lead to documented improvements.

First 90 days

Learn the supported environment, administrative boundaries and escalation procedures. Verify the inventory for an assigned set of systems and devices, then take ownership of routine support and account requests. Complete supervised configuration changes, document common resolutions and propose one carefully scoped improvement to a frequent administrative task.

Compensation

Proposed annual base salary of $80,000–$110,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.
