Position summary
The Corporate Procurement & Vendor Manager will organize how LSO Media Group buys the tools and services its teams need to operate. Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Operations, you will support corporate purchases, software subscriptions, equipment and professional services. The remit concerns internal company purchasing and coordination with business owners across the portfolio.
You will help requesters define needs, compare credible options and manage the full cost of a commitment. Working with Finance, IT and Legal, you will assemble the reviews needed before an agreement is approved. After purchase, you will track renewals, supplier performance and outstanding obligations so contracts continue to serve the company’s actual needs.
Responsibilities
- Create a clear purchase-request process with required specifications, budget ownership and approval steps.
- Source and compare vendors using documented requirements, service expectations and total cost considerations.
- Negotiate commercial terms within approved authority and involve Legal in contract language or material risk questions.
- Coordinate supplier reviews with Finance, IT and other subject-matter owners before commitments are made.
- Maintain a contract and renewal register with notice dates, spend owners and responsible decision-makers.
- Monitor delivery, service issues and recurring supplier performance with internal business owners.
- Work with Accounting to resolve purchase-order, invoice and receipt discrepancies.
- Identify duplicate subscriptions, unnecessary commitments and opportunities to consolidate suitable purchases.
Required qualifications
- Experience in corporate procurement, vendor management or commercial purchasing.
- Ability to turn internal requirements into useful sourcing comparisons and negotiation objectives.
- Experience managing renewals, contract records and stakeholder approvals.
- Strong spreadsheet analysis and clear explanations of cost and service trade-offs.
- Professional supplier communication and sound judgment about delegated purchasing authority.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience buying software subscriptions, media equipment or professional services.
- Familiarity with vendor security reviews and cross-functional contract approval processes.
- Experience implementing purchasing procedures in a growing or multi-unit organization.
Measures of success
- Purchases have clear requirements, approval evidence and an accountable business owner.
- Renewal decisions occur before relevant notice deadlines.
- Supplier issues are documented and followed through to agreed resolution.
- Procurement reporting makes commitments, avoidable costs and service trade-offs visible.
First 90 days
Build an initial view of major vendors, upcoming renewals and purchasing routes. Meet Finance, IT and Legal to define review responsibilities and approval boundaries. Take ownership of priority renewals, pilot a consistent request and comparison process, and present practical actions for duplicate spending, incomplete records and supplier performance gaps.
Compensation
Proposed annual base salary of $90,000–$125,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.
What to include in your application
Describe a vendor selection or renewal you led. Explain the requirements, negotiation choices and how you evaluated cost together with service quality and implementation needs.
