Position summary
The Contracts Manager will organize the lifecycle of LSO Media Group’s commercial agreements. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer, you will work with sales, procurement, product and operating teams to collect requirements and move agreements through the appropriate review. The position supports a mix of advertising, services, vendor and developing software-related arrangements.
You will administer counsel-approved templates and playbooks, track changes and ensure that approved terms are reflected in the final record. Legal advice and material departures from standard terms remain with counsel. Your work will help colleagues understand what was agreed, who must act next and which dates or obligations require ongoing attention.
Responsibilities
- Manage contract intake with complete business context, requested timelines and named commercial owners.
- Prepare drafts from approved templates and route legal or commercial departures to the appropriate reviewer.
- Maintain version control and a clear record of comments, approvals and unresolved issues.
- Coordinate negotiations administratively and support commercial discussion within delegated authority.
- Verify that final agreements reflect approved terms before routing them to authorized signatories.
- Maintain a searchable contract register with effective dates, notice deadlines and obligation owners.
- Coordinate renewal and termination reminders with business owners before relevant decision dates.
- Report recurring contracting delays and recommend improvements to intake, templates or handoffs.
Required qualifications
- Experience in contract administration, contracts management, legal operations or commercial support.
- Ability to work accurately with agreement versions, approval records and recurring deadlines.
- Experience coordinating sales, procurement and legal stakeholders through a review process.
- Clear understanding of delegated authority and when legal interpretation requires counsel.
- Strong writing, attention to detail and a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with advertising, media licensing, software or professional services agreements.
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools and electronic signature workflows.
- Experience introducing contract intake processes or maintaining an obligation register.
Measures of success
- Contract reviewers receive complete context and a clear statement of decisions needed.
- Signed agreements match approved terms and are easy for authorized colleagues to locate.
- Renewal and obligation owners receive actionable reminders before relevant deadlines.
- Contract records preserve the review history and reduce avoidable version confusion.
First 90 days
Review agreement types, approval routes and the current contract repository with Legal. Establish a usable intake checklist and identify upcoming notice or renewal dates. Take ownership of a set of active agreements, create consistent status reporting and document the final-signature and obligation handoff with commercial owners.
Compensation
Proposed annual base salary of $90,000–$125,000 USD. The final offer will reflect relevant experience, qualifications and the agreed scope of the position, subject to approval. This range covers base pay only; any incentive compensation or benefits would be specified separately in an employment offer.
